This detail view of the reverse of the painting
shows the frame and the inscribed title. This oil painting on
linen canvas measures 48 inches by 36 inches unframed and 53 inches
by 41 inches framed. It was painted by the Connecticut Artist
Leif Nilsson in the spring of 2001 in front of his studio in Chester,
CT when the daffodils were in full bloom. Note the red door on
the left hand side of the canvas leads into the gallery. The frame
was hand made by Mr. Nilsson in his studio which is right inside
