This warm sunny snow scene is filled with the magical brilliance of a late winter morning just after a heavy snow fall. The composition was painted on location in the winter of 2003 by American Impressionist Artist Leif Nilsson. The view is of the Main Street in the village of Chester, Connecticut. This is one of the gateways to the center of town, a favorite motif of Leif Nilsson's. This oil painting on linen canvas mounted on board measures eleven inches high by fourteen inches wide unframed and nineteen inches high by sixteen inches wide mounted in the Florentine Style hand made and leafed finished corner frame shown here.
